Berndt Zingrebe of Sill Optics celebrates his 70th birthday and 30 years with the company
On February 5th 2012 Berndt Zingrebe, managing director of Sill Optics in Wendelstein, celebrates his 70th birthday. He is looking back on 30 years commitment to the company in 2012. He has been directing the long-standing company, which was founded in 1894 by Julius Ernst Sill in Nuremberg, since 1994.
In 2004 Optolyth Optik a manufacturer of Binoculars and Spotting scopes was bought. The production was relocated to Wendelstein with the remaining employees. Sill Optics is an impressive example for securing jobs and location in Germany in a social manner. Berndt Zingrebe has been awarded to the "Job Star" Award of the Nuremberg region in 2002 for his exemplary corporate management. further information
